Daley Mathison is a 17 year old with a difference.
Whilst most teenagers are playing on computer games and dreaming of becoming Popstars or Racing Drivers - Daley is out there making his own dreams come true.
Three years ago Daley started his career in Motorcycle racing, with the help of a very supportive Dad, he quickly gained respect and attention as an up and coming star of the future - aged just 13!
Daley started racing in the auto 66 championship which guarantees a hard and cut throat race due to the do or die attitude of the fearless youngsters. Daley's mature and calm nature served him well throughout and his confidence and experience grew through the following two years, along with developing and honing his race craft and skills.
Daley has gained the well deserved respect of his peers and race officals alike due to his natural talent combined with a determined attitude and highly professional approach. Daley is easy to work with and due to his superb communication and inter-personal skills is a sponsors dream.
In 2007 Daley has really come into his own and competed in two separate Championships and is earning the results that his hard work and passionate nature deserve. Currently he was running second and first place trewout the season and a strong contester for the title. He was also in third place in the prestigious scottish nationals however not completing all of the rounds alongside this, Daley has also completed his GCSE's and got some great results. he is currently at collage in darlington studying mechanical engineering on a two year course.
